I was told that I am a beneficiary on my godfathers accounts by multiple family members, he passed away when I was a minor but my father insisted that I was and he was there when my godfather put my name and social down and it would just take a while before we were notified if I was but then a few months after I asked about it again and he told me that never happened and he had no idea what I was talking about. I didn’t receive any mail stating that I was but all my mail was going through my father at that point.

If you know who the lawyer is who's representing your godfather's estate's executor, contact them.
Or, when a Will is probated, it's filed in court, so you can search for the Estate of {godfather] here after you create an account and pay a few dollars for the access: https://www.lacourt.org/paonlineservices/pacommerce/login.aspx?appId=IMG&casetype=CIV
Once you find the probate case, you can see the names of lawyers and parties involved.
Avvo doesn't pay us for these responses, and I'm not your lawyer just because I answer this question or respond to any follow-up comments.

Hello,
Unless there is a trust, Will or notarized/witnessed document stating that you are the beneficiary of your Godfather's bank account, there is no way to find out.
The banks will not advise you of the account without some proof that you are authorized to obtain this information.
