It's no secret that guys can be painfully oblivious when a girl is into them. And sometimes, we just wish we had a neon sign that spelled it out for us.
Turns out, we might. New research out of the University of Rochester found that guys think a woman is more interested in sex when she's wearing red. For their study, scientists showed men a pic of a woman wearing a red T-shirt, and another of her wearing a white T-shirt. Both photos were identical except for the color of the shirt, which they doctored.
Researchers then asked the men to guess on a scale of one to nine how interested the woman seemed to be in sex. The result? The majority of guys said the woman in red was one to 1.5 points more likely to be open to getting busy.
Previous studies have shown that men are drawn to red, regardless of what you're wearing.
So, if you're ready to move things to the next level with a new guy, maybe opt for that cute red top instead of an LBD. It can't hurt, right?
