EXFOLIATEExfoliation is vital in achieving a flawless tan! It is recommended to exfoliate at least 8 hours before your sunless application. A washcloth with soap generally works best. Spend a little extra time exfoliating areas that tend to be dry like the elbows, feet, andhands.

SOAPS & LOTIONS TO AVOIDAvoid using moisturizing soaps and body washes before you tan. These soapsleave a layer on the skin that won't allow the tan to penetrate through to make an even application. Clear body wash or soaps like DIAL, IVORY, LEVER 2000, IRISH SPRING or ZEST are recommended.

LOTIONSAvoid any oils or lotions that use mineral oil (petroleum), baby oil, coconut oil, and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (which is found in most body washes). I have found the best lotions to use are Aveeno, Cetaphil, Hempz, and CeraVe. Lotions with perfumes contain high alcohol levels and tend to dry out the skin.

SHAVINGTry and shave at least 6 hours before your sunless session. DO NOT use shaving cream because it contains (lanolin) an oil that acts as a barrier between your skin and sunless solution.

WAXING/PEDICURES/MANICURESAny mani/pedi's should be done prior to your session, because the exfoliation process can deteriorate the life of your tan. If done after, it is recommended for a polish change only. Waxing should be done 1 to 2 day prior to your session.

DRY SKIN/LOTIONIf you have dry skin, apply a very light water based lotion evenly to your skin at least 2 hours prior to your appointment. Do not apply any oils pre or prior to your sunless application.

MAKE-UP/HAIRFor best results remove make-up prior to your tan and pull your hair back in a ponytail. SPRAY GLOW will provide you with a hair net.

CLOTHINGDuring your tan women have the option to wear a swimsuit, go topless or nude. MenMUSTwear bottoms. Please bring dark loose clothing to wear after your tan. Also, it is a good idea to bring a towel to lay down on your car seat prior to application.

Wait at least 8-10 hours after your sunless application before showering or bathing unless you did the- EXPRESS tan (shower after3 hours). It is recommended that you wait until the next morning to shower. During the waiting time DO NOT: moisturize, shower, wash your face, sweat heavily, swim, or take a bath.

When showering, do not be alarmed if you see color (bronzer) washing off yourfirstshower. This is just the cosmetic surface bronzerapplication. You will have a nice even color after showering off the bronzer.

When you shower, make it quick and warm (NOT hot) and use a mild moisturizing shower gel. Gently pat yourself dry with a towel and while still damp apply lotion.

Don't forget to MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE! Continue to moisturize at least twice a day with the recommended lotions. Your tan will gradually begin to fade in the next 7-10 days. The use of tan extenders will prolong your tan.

Touch-ups-Spray Glow has touch-up cans available for purchase. The product available for purchase matches your sunless tan. A spray tan has a tendency to come off first on hands, feet, and face. Use your touch up can to fix rub offs or get extra color in certain areas you want darker.

How to remove your tan or dark spots-If you had a really dark spray on tan at the end of it's life it might get patchy, if it is beyond the life span of touch-up you will need to take it off.

How to remove a spray tan altogether- 1. apply body oil 2. take a bath 3. exfoliate with a wash cloth/loofah. If you use an exfoliate wash with a glove, this works well too. Dark spots can be removed with lemon juice, Windex, or Oxygen cream will do the trick.
